Where and when are the church's services?
Trinity’s services our held within the historic nave, located on the northwest corner of the intersection of 4th Avenue North and 5th Street North in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.  Click here for map / directions.

What should I wear?
Feel free to wear whatever clothes make you feel most comfortable.  We care more that you’re here, than what you wear.

How long are your services?
Trinity’s services are typically one (1) hour.

What are your services like?
The 10:00 am service is a traditional service for those who connect to God through hymns and liturgy.
There is a basic pattern for worship among Lutherans. We gather. We encounter God’s Word. We share a meal at the Lord’s table. And we are sent into the world. But we do not think about worship so much in terms of what we do. Worship is fundamentally about what God is doing and our response to God’s action. Worship is an encounter with God, who saves us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Both before and after the service, our fellowship hall is open to talk more with people you’ve met and grab a cup of coffee.

Do you celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion?
We celebrate Holy Communion at each worship time. We affirm our Lord’s presence in, with and under each element of the Sacrament. All baptized Christians are welcome at the Lord’s table.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or be singled out?
Rest assured that you won't be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed. Though we do receive an offering, we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. We do like to collect some basic information from people in our guest registry, but if you'd prefer not to, that's all right with us.

What about my kids?
A staffed nursery is available during the 10:00 service.
Kingdom Kids, an exciting program for children, is also offered during the 10:00 service. Children, from Pre-K to high school, who attend the 10:00 service are voluntarily dismissed to the class and playroom after the Children’s Sermon where they have fun with instructive learning, crafts and games.  The children are returned to the nave for the sacrament of the Holy Communion.  Parents are always welcome to attend and observe any of our children’s ministries.

What kind of church are you?
Trinity is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We have roots going back 100 years in the Lutheran heritage, and hold it as an important element of our history.
Trinity is a community church who welcomes people of diverse backgrounds to its worship and its membership.  At a typical worship assembly, you’ll find people of all ages;  those with Ph.D.'s and those with very little education;  people who were born in other lands as well as the USA;  musically gifted and the singing impaired, and a whole lot of other expressions of diversity.

Most importantly, Trinity is a safe place for people who are looking for answers to their spiritual questions. It's also a place where those who have decided to follow Jesus Christ can learn and be encouraged in their spiritual growth.
